The Defibrio AED is intended for emergency treatment of individuals who are exhibiting symptoms of cardiac arrest, specifically patients who are unresponsive and not breathing normally. 

The Defibrio AED analyzes the patient’s cardiac rhythm and allows the delivery of an electrical shock to treat ventricular fibrillation or pulseless ventricular tachycardia.

The Defibrio AED is indicated for patients over 55 pounds (25 kg).
